Two HBCUAC Athletes selected for 2024 HBCU All-Star Dream Classic
Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference basketball athletes Jayden Lockett from Fisk University and Je'Nya Wilder from Talladega College will get to play on the historic hallowed grounds of Rucker Park in the 2024 HBCU All-Star Dream Classic on August 10 in Harlem, New York.

The athletes were among 40 selected from HBCUs in all levels of college basketball.
Lockett will play on team ML Kings who will face Dinkin's Dunkers. He finished his college career with over 1,000 points. Lockett was an All-GCAC First Team and All-Defensive Team selection this past season. The Nashville native scored a career-high 39 points on February 19 at conference foe Southern University at New Orleans.
Wilder started 17 games during the 2022-23 season, in which Talladega was a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference. She averaged 9.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. Wilder tallied a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds against Tennessee Southern University on November 3, 2022. She recorded one against Wiley University (then College) with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Wilder also tallied 20 points against Oakwood University on October 29 and Mobile University on January 24. She had highs of five assists against Oakwood University (Nov. 8) and four steals against Mobile University (Nov. 29) and Coastal Georgia (Jan. 10).
