Stillman's Haskins, Talladega's Wagner-Stiles garner Week 10 HBCUAC Softball Weekly Awards
NEW ORLEANS - April 14, 2025 - Stillman College outfielder Lauren Haskins captures Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Softball Player of the Week and Talladega College's Sofi Wagner-Stiles claims Pitcher of the Week. The ladies were recognized for their performances between April 7-13, the conference announced on Monday.
Haskins posted a .444 batting average and four steals in two games against NCAA Division II and SIAC leader Tuskegee University. She earned four RBIs and scored twice in the win over the Golden Tigers. This is Haskins' fifth weekly honor.
Wagner-Stiles pitched three complete-game shutout wins during the week, including 15.2 scoreless innings on the road in conference action against Rust College. She struck out the side three times in her 2-0 win Saturday and carried a no-hitter through 6.1 innings. She had 26 strikeouts in 15.2 innings of work and 59 total on the week for an average of 11.9 per 7 innings.

About HBCU Athletic Conference
The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is the only HBCU conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
